Maybe he's saying there is no bonus for a 5 credit bet royal. Meaning the royal pays 250, 500, 750, 1000, 1250 based on 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 credits bet. If that's the case, here's optimal strategy if forced to play it:

If the royal is different, take the 5 credit bet win amount for it and divide by five to plug into the above strategy maker to get optimal strategy and the payback percentage.

Well, I didn't make myself clear, I was following the link's payoff where it's said 800 for the flush royal but in my machine it's 5x time the straight flush so 250 for one coin

Edit. Since there is no bonus for a 5 credit bet royal, there is no sense to do so. Just bet 1 credit.

No. Preferably you shouldn't even play it, but if you're going to, just bet one credit per hand and no more.
