This week’s gear include Lucky Pants (Hunter boots), Mask of the Quiet One (Titan helm) and Starfire Protocol (Warlock chest), each for 23 Legendary Shards and at 270 Power level. Lucky Pants are fairly useless but Mask of the Quiet One offers melee, grenade and class ability energy whenever you take damage as a Titan. Plus, Void Ability Kills help regen health. Starfire Protocol is also decent since kills with Fusion Grenades grant energy for Rifts.
Merciless, the Exotic weapon of the week, is definitely worth picking up. It’s a fusion rifle who’s recharge time decreases with each subsequent shot as long as your target is alive. This makes it an excellent boss DPS tool. It can be yours for 29 Legendary Shards and is at 270 Power level.

The two Exotics in question are Prometheus Lens, an Exotic Trace Rifle introduced with Curse of Osiris, and Helm of Saint-14, an Exotic Titan helm. The former creates a fiery field that generates more damage as the beam fires for longer and costs 29 Legendary Shards. The latter has been present since Destiny 1 and allows for Ward of Dawn to blind enemies that get too close. It costs 23 Legendary Shards.

The other items are fairly standard. Lucky Pants are Hunter Boots that load ammo into stowed hand cannons with precision hits while also allowing them to ready faster. Apotheosis Veil is a Warlock helm that will immediately regenerate your health, grenade, melee and Rift when using a Super while also increasing the recharge rate of class abilities for nearby allies. Both can be yours for 23 Legendary Shards.
